Video Review of the R100
The video below lasts just a tad over 2 minutes, and is in my opinion, well worth a watch.
Key Features & Benefits of the Body max R100
It is worthwhile making a quick note of what makes this one worthy of your consideration. Buying this one is not a cheap option, so what makes it worth that type of money? That is what most people will really want to know.
I have already stated that the quality of materials and the quality of build is right up there with the best. However, what are the features available that make this one so special?
The Foot Platforms
These are made of solid steel. The area where you place your feet on a rowing machine, comes under a lot of stress, when you are doing a workout.
That area needs to be tough and strong, with a good grip and wide enough so that your feet do not keep slipping off. The R100 has a great set of foot plates, as they have heel supports, as well as easy to fasten and remove foot straps.
LCD Display & Consol
The display is very easy to see and also easy to use. This is where you can see all of your statistics, set your training programs and then view all the read outs. The one on this is bright, crystal clear and super easy to use.
Good Range of Programs
Variety can often be the one thing that keeps people exercising. Let's face it, hopping on a rowing machine everyday, and doing the same old thing can get boring. With this one there are 42 different programs for you to do. Those along with many levels of resistance, certainly offers a great deal of variety.
Our Verdict on the Bodymax Infiniti R100
This is a great rowing machine that comes with a big IF. It is only a great buy if you can afford the price. Have no doubt that you are getting a high end machine though, should you decide to spend your money on this one. It takes around 15-20 minutes to set it up.
Buyers made many comments on both the quality, and the usability of this Bodymax rower. It is first of all very quiet, the range of rowing options is high, and the levels of resistance work well for anyone from a beginner to the more advanced.
Honestly we think your money could be better spent. Even if you have to spend a little extra, we think it would be worth doing that. Check out our top 10 list of rowing machines here. Many people do compare this one to the Concept 2, which is about £250-300 more expensive. You can read a review about the Concept 2 here. Personally I think the Concept is a slightly better option, however the price difference is significant.
It is worth mentioning that you can also buy an optional heart rate monitor for the R100. For me they could have added this in, as this is an expensive rower. However, at least it is available.
